I am reading (ok scanning) this book called Juggling Twins. It gives great advice and tips to handle the overwhelming feeling that having two little ones can cause. I read the chapter yesterday about feeding two newborns. Not only is it full of information, it is very funny. I find myself laughing out loud at the comparisons it makes. For example, "Feeding twins is much like painting the golden gate bridge. Once you finish feeding, burping, changing, swaddling, swaying, shushing, rocking, and pumping times two it is time to do it all over again." That is the truest statement! If I'm lucky I have an hour or an hour and half to do laundry, wash bottles, empty the diaper genie, shower, sleep, etc.
My mom left on Sunday (just a little traumatic) and Eugene is back at work full time. So, it's just me and the babies. I'm no longer in the majority... kind of scary.
So sweet, holding on to one another
Double fisting has a new meaning at our house!

Oh my goodness, I love Eugene with the two bottles and the slightly terrified deer in the headlights look that says, "Um, so am I doing this right?" And the pictures of both babies snuggled up together are so sweet. You look fabulous you brat- very un-whale like!
About time!! Love the new look- no offense to you and eugene but I was ready to see those babies up there!
Katie -- I'm Amy Winstead Stewart's mom. I think about y'all just about every day. Two precious bundles...who demand your every second. They and you are in our prayers -- and they are just beautiful.
