Meeting the new puppy

Eugene's sister and her husband got a new puppy last week. His name is Regan. He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and is a doll!! We took Sam over to their house yesterday afternoon to meet his new cousin. He did well with the little dog,. He tried to stay lying on the ground when they played and only put his head into his mouth once! Regan wasn't really sure what to think of this big horse of a dog, but he sure did try his hardest to keep up with him!

Sam went to the vet last week for his yearly check-up and shots. He is up to 100 lbs now and is apparently "still growing." Can you believe it!! Still growing?!

He still is the sweetest dog though. He sure does love to snuggle. Here is he and his dad doing their best couch snuggle.

Eugene and I had date night on Saturday. There were three big weddings in Dyersburg Saturday night so needless to say the night life was fun. We went to dinner and then hit the town. We also did lots of projects around the house. I can't wait to post pictures of this table I am redoing for my deck. It's not quite done yet... pictures to come!
