100 Days and Counting

When we found out we were expecting (before we even knew it was TWINS) we received a precious gift from a friend. They gave us a Baby Due Date timer to keep at home. We set it up with my impending due date and had something like 270+ days to go... maybe more. I remember thinking that was so long and we had plenty of time. The day we found out we were having twins Eugene made the comment that he couldn't wait to see me when the ticker said 100 days.

Here I am... a day away from being 6 1/2 months pregnant with our son and daughter. I couldn't be happier.

So, here is what we have left to do in this short time.
*Finish our remodel upstairs. (Oh will it ever be finished!?!)
*Pray that our baby beds come in sooner than later!
*Baby bedding (I ordered what I thought I wanted, but sent it back. The color was just not right. Here is what we have ordered at the moment. I am thinking I am going to love it.) Restoration Hardware Baby has beautiful bedding!

*Get all of the other "stuff" that goes into the nursery.
*Get new windows put in... they come on Tuesday of next week.

I feel a bit overwhelmed for sure. First, I know that 100 days is really not an accurate number for twins. My doctor said she considers 38 weeks term for twins, and I will be lucky to make it that far. Plus, I could end up on bed rest toward the end. ***Please say a prayer that I can work AS LONG AS I POSSIBLY CAN**

Some other great, fun milestones:
*The babies are MOVING, MOVING, MOVING. Sometimes it looks like they may bust out of my stomach.

*Worth has (I think) turned sideways. Thanks, son. He has found my lower right rib as well. Ouch.

*Caroline is, as far as I can tell, still head down. Her favorite thing to do these days it to curl up into a ball. It is crazy looking because just one side of my stomach will bulge out much bigger than the other. You can feel her little butt when she does this. SO CUTE!

Deep breaths, slow calming deep breaths...visualize a glass of wine and feel yourself relaxing...repeat after me, "It will all get finished, it will all get finished... and if it doesn't or I get put on bed rest before it's finished it will all be on my husband's red head to finish for me and I will be so pregnant he will FEAR letting me down... it will all get finished..." Wasn't that a delicious, realxing glass of wine?
