Meeting Houston...

I was so excited to meet sweet Houston on Saturday. He is so precious and SOOOOO tiny. My mom and I agree we haven't ever seen a baby so little! He sure was fun to hold! :)

Lori Beth looks wonderful and was moving around so well. I couldn't believe that you could be so mobile after only having a baby a few days ago. Here are some pictures of little Houston.

In other news...

If you have room in your prayers, please pray for my grandfather. I mentioned in a post back in May that he wasn't doing very well. He has progressively gotten worse and Hospice will start this week (we hope). We just pray that he goes peacefully and pain free and that his suffering is not prolonged. In the words of my mother, I hope that he can feel God's hands on him and will not fight and struggle with what is eminent. I can't imagine life without my Paw Paw, but I try to tell myself that he will soon be in a better place. Why is that so hard to accept?

He was the main reason for my trip to Natchez over the weekend... well that and I hadn't seen my family in over 8 weeks. I got to spend time with Ava over the weekend. I spent the night in Jackson with Adam and Katie on Friday night and got some good TLC from that sweet girl! She has started making all kinds of noises. Her favorite is da da da da da. Katie, Adam, and I were convinced that she said I love da da on Friday night. She was babbling and all of a sudden she said it. We all looked at each other and said, SHE SAID I LOVE DA DA! I know she didn't... but it was fun to think she did!
